Uniform

We do have a school dress code based on the school colour, Royal blue, teamed with either grey, navy blue or black. Our school uniform policy is available on the Policy Documents tab, under key information.

We have sweatshirts and cardigans with the school logo on. These may be purchased or ordered from the school office. It is an expectation of the Governing Body that children will dress for school in accordance with this code.

All items of school clothing, including coats and book bags must be clearly marked with your child’s name.

Uniform for sale in school:

We stock the following items of uniform in school for sale.

  • Cardigans and Jumpers aged 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8. These are £12.00 each.
  • Book bags £6.50
  • PE Bags £2.75
  • Sun Hats £3.50

Jewellery:

In the interests of safety, Jewellery should not be worn in school.

Earrings:

If your child has pierced ears then a single stud is acceptable. However, even studs may cause problems especially during a P.E. lesson and therefore, we would ask that your child does not in the interest of safety wear earrings to school. Earrings MUST be removed on days when your child has a PE session.

The school cannot accept responsibility for any items of jewellery lost or damaged in school.

P.E. Kit:

All children will require the following items of P.E. Kit. (All items should be clearly marked with your child’s name).

  • Black slip-on pumps
  • Navy\Black shorts
  • White T – shirt

Girls may wear a leotard if they wish. (Navy\Black).

Drawstring bags can be purchased at the School Office.

In the interests of safety all children with long hair MUST have their hair tied back for a P.E. lesson.

Lost Property:

All items of clothing MUST be clearly marked with your child’s name. With so many children wearing similar clothes, it is easy for them to get mixed up. This causes upset for both children and parents. Clothes which are named clearly are much easier to find if they become lost.

Any clothing which is not claimed, will be displayed near to the playground entrances in both buildings for two weeks. Items which remain unclaimed, will be placed in the lost property box in the Hall and once a term it will be displayed in the hall after school. Any property still not claimed will be given to charity.

Toys:

Toys should not be brought to school except under special circumstances with the prior permission of the class teachers.
